Why this exists
My own library was full of files that were nearly right: authors filed under their first name, series that would not group, covers that never appeared. The fix existed — in desktop applications you install, learn, and open for a job that takes thirty seconds.
So the tools here are the ones I kept needing, and they run in a browser. Each does one job, shows you the change before making it, and hands the file straight back.
A record put straight

Characters a bad conversion broke, letters from the wrong alphabet, marks you cannot see — each one shown in its sentence before anything changes.

When you do not know what is wrong, the file check reads the book and tells you: what it is, whether it is locked, and where its size went.
Your files, and what we do with them
What happens to a book after I upload it?
It is sent over HTTPS, worked on by the tool you chose, and deleted automatically one hour later. A job runs every fifteen minutes and removes anything older than that, whether you came back for it or not.
The hour exists so a download link still works if you get distracted. Nothing needs it to be longer.
Do you keep a copy, or read what I upload?
No. We keep no copy, we do not read your books, we do not share them with anyone, and nothing you upload is used to train anything.
We are a server-side tool and do not pretend otherwise: your file does leave your device. That is what lets us run real tooling rather than an approximation of it in the browser.
Who else can reach my file while it is here?
Nobody, unless they have the link. An upload is parked under a random 32-character name that is not listed anywhere and cannot be guessed or browsed.
Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for, and we do not ask for your email to use any of the tools. If you connect Google Drive, that is your choice and you can disconnect it at any time.
How large a book can I send?
Up to 50 MB on the website, which covers almost every ebook including illustrated ones. The Telegram bot is limited to 20 MB — that is Telegram’s cap on what a bot may receive, not ours.
What do you track?
Page views and which tools get used, so we know what to build next. Not the contents of your books, and not who you are. What cookies are set and how to refuse them is written out on the cookies page.
